The program trains staff to appreciate and respect each other and gives them innovative tips for how to interact with their peers as well as subordinates in new ways.
We use proprietary games and activities to engage your staff in problem-solving challenges that requires them to cooperate with each other to find solutions in a fun setting. Each session begins with a short interactive discussion of what we plan to accomplish and a description of the challenges ahead. Afterwards there is a de-brief period to review what they learned . We tailor the program to each team's needs or weaknesses. With over 100 challenges, we are able to customize an interactive program for small or large groups.
Small group sessions (under 20) are more intensive and detailed with much more discussion and personal interaction. We divide the group into 2 teams and using teamwork games as the foundation, require your employees to work together to complete each challenge. Some games require strong leadership, while others can only be solved by allowing everyone to lead as the game flows. The de-brief after each game allows each member to talk about "what happened and why" and "what could they do next time to solve the game either faster, or in a more efficient manner".
Large group activities are designed as activities that require teamwork to solve them and allows for group bonding and departmental cohesion. The games are larger in format while still requiring thoughtful consideration to solve them.

Keith Gold, Owner
Keith graduated college with Education teaching degrees in both Psychology and Physical Education. He then earned a BA in Business and subsequently his MBA in marketing. After teaching K-12 schools for a few years, Keith embarked on a highly successful career as a college coach and educator. His teams reached the NCAA national tournament 4 times and Keith was named Coach of the Year. Additionally, during the summer, Keith was a Director of a children's summer residential camp.
After moving back to his home state of NJ, Keith began working in the schools services field managing the Physical Education and Recreation catalogs for international school supplier, FlagHouse Inc. Keith has worked in the education field for over 30 years, has spoken and presented in hundreds of educational workshops around the world, and is considered one of the leading experts in the field of leadership and team building activities.

All facilitators are adult age, have experience working with teams and have trained for over 40 hours in our leadership philosophy.

How we do it
At TM~Teambuilding, our approach is facilitation not instruction. We allow participants to create and take ownership of their own learning. TM~Teambuilding facilitators are trained to guide groups through the process of discovering their strengths and evaluating alternative solutions to problems and challenges they face.
Hands-on Learning
Fundamental to the TM~Teambuilding approach is the idea that we learn best by doing. A study on the "Learning Pyramid" from the National Training Laboratories (Bethel, Maine) shows that in the traditional lecture/reading based environment, people experience retention rates of only 10%. On the other hand, when individuals are engaged in hands-on learning they retain up to 90%. (Alexandria, 2006).

TM~Teambuilding experience outclasses the competition in many ways because we are cost effective and we will come to your location or selected place of interest to perform our team building events.
TM~Teambuilding is cost efficient: our challenges are centered around the people and not the material. There are no extra hidden costs, we bring all of our own supplies and props.
We are flexible with the scheduling of events: we can do whole day events, half-day events, or even work with a team for just a few hours.
Our facilitators are trained to work with small or large groups but to enhance the experience when we work with smaller groups they do receive more personal attention.
Groups of 20 people or less are assigned to one facilitator. The more people in a group the more facilitators we provide.
A typical 2 hour program begins with an introduction to what will occur over the next few hours, will reinforce your messaging of what is to accomplished, and then we use our unique techniques to divide the group into teams. After this, they will perform a series of challenging games with each one designated to "teach" different values. Following each activity is a de-brief session to discuss "what happened and why" so they can learn from their efforts and use them to build on the next set of challenges.
People who come through a series of our workshops have shown increased productivity, have become better teammates with their co-workers and seek to provide solutions rather than create conflict in tense situations.
